Amanda moved into a flat after leaving care at the age of 18. We provided minimal support with housing-related tasks, including obtaining benefits, maintaining the safety and security of her flat and occasional welfare support.
After eight months, Amanda became so independent that she no longer needed our support services and instead carried on maintaining the tenancy of her flat with occasional support from local authority social services.
