Our clients

Our clients are adults aged between 18 and 65 with complex and wide-ranging needs due to learning disabilities, mental health needs or both.

Learning disabilities form one of the UK’s most common types of disability, affecting an estimated 1.5 million people.

Types of learning disability can range from mild to profound and will affect the individual’s intellectual and social development throughout their life.

Mental health needs can be equally varied in type and severity, in some cases causing significant and long-term disruption to people’s lives.

By providing support packages tailored to each client’s individual needs, we recognise that while learning disabilities or mental health needs may present unique challenges, we can help our clients to lead active, purposeful, productive lives, in which they can identify and achieve personal goals.

We can help clients to build confidence, independence and decision-making and life skills and to build beneficial relationships. With our support, many of our clients go on to take up education, employment, training or volunteering opportunities.
