Respite care |
From our own experience, we know that providing long-term care for someone with a learning disability, mental health needs, or both, can be richly rewarding but can also be tiring and isolating
So we also offer our accommodation and specialist support for respite care, allowing carers to take regular breaks or when alternative accommodation is needed at short notice.
Because we choose our properties carefully, they offer all the comforts of longer-term housing, to help clients settle in quickly and relax during their stay, while they enjoy the benefits of meeting new people and opportunities for new experiences.
In this way, we can help families and other carers to take a break from caring responsibilities that might otherwise lead to exhaustion, stress or depression, so that they can return to looking after the person they care for with fresh enthusiasm and energy.
