Case study one: Sarah |
Sarah has learning difficulties and when she originally became a Parallel Options client, she was supported 24 hours a day, for her own safety.
Since then, she has started working part-time in a local shop, with her wages paid into her own bank account.
Sarah’s support package was reviewed to reflect her increased independence. This has been developed further by support staff helping her with personal safety, budgeting skills and practical living skills.
Sarah has proven to herself and those around her that she can work and live safely within the community.
