Case study one: William |
William spent his childhood moving between various foster carers and residential care placements.
When he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, he became homeless. His general mental health state deteriorated through drug abuse, resulting in frequent periods in psychiatric hospitals.
William then moved into Parallel Options and has since maintained his tenancy agreement, developed a relationship with the staff who support him and has created a safe and secure place that he can call home.
